Welcome to the lyrics page. One would think that it would be easy to fill this section with a selection of titles from the thousands of songs I have written over the last 25 years or so. When it came time to put this web site together I realized that the lyrics to many of my songs like "Goin Gone", "Angel Eyes", "Let’s Talk Dirty in Hawaiian" are already available at either fan-based web sites dedicated to the artists that recorded the songs or from one of the many international lyric databases like OLGA that appear and disappear like a offshore pirate radio station. I am happy to provide the correct lyrics to any of my songs to anyone who desires to record one of them.  Just ask!  Years ago I used to spend hours trying to decipher old blues records, so I know how hard it is to get the words right. I will create a collection of the most requested lyrics once I start to get more feedback from visitors to this site.

There is a songbook called "Goin’ Gone, A Fred Koller Songbook" that was published by Cherry Lane Music in 1991. It’s currently out of print, but copies do show up on eBay.com from time to time. Cherry Lane may still have a few, so please check with them thru their web site.

If you have already recorded one of my songs and need to know the publishing information, please e-mail me so that I can make sure you are contacting the right publisher or administrator. ATV Music published many of my early songs which is now part of the Sony/ATV mega conglomerate. Unfortunately, this catalog has had many homes in the last thirty years, and a number of my earliest songs are not part of the active catalog. They await the day when the paper trail is finally transferred to computers. Sony also owns many of the songs I wrote for Terrace Music and a handful of my songs that Dane Bryant published when he had On His Own Music.

My songs with Old Friends are now part of BMG Music. Bug Music administrates a bunch of my songs, but they are as confused as I am about what song is supposed to be where. Universal Music has many of the songs I wrote from 1995 to 2000 these are co-published with a variety of partners.

All of my songs are BMI. I am proud to have received many BMI awards over the years and they have served me well. I hope this information is helpful if you have any questions please send me an e-mail, and I will answer you as quickly as possible.
